Art Deco Performing with other ensembles

La Mesa Oktoberfest in the Beer Garden Sunday, October 4th 2PM-5PM --  Art plays with the Heroes! There will be activities for all ages and admission is free. The La Mesa Oktoberfest is the largest west of the Mississippi! After a 1 year hiatus, the large beer garden in the Allison Street Parking lot is back with German music, singers, dancers, contests. Food will once again be inside the garden to include brats, roasted corn, strudel, pretzels and more. Karl Strauss will once again provide the German Oktoberfest beer. Check back soon for a schedule of events in the beer garden. This is a family friendly event so all ages are allowed in the beer garden but you must be 21 to receive a wrist band to buy and consume alcohol.
Please join your friends (200,000 or so) here at La Mesa Village for the 36th Annual Oktoberfest. You don’t want to miss the Grand Daddy of all street fairs and the largest 3-day Oktoberfest West of the Mississippi.
Put on your walking shoes and be prepared to walk 6 city blocks filled with over 300 craft and commercial booths with lots of yummy food and a children’s carnival.
This all takes place October 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2009.

Saturday October 3rd 11 am till 11:30 pm (Large beer garden opens at 11 am Saturday)
Sunday October 4th 12 Noon till 6 pm (Large beer garden opens at Noon Sunday)
